We are pleased to let you know that new hot tub reminder signage will shortly be installed at our holiday homes with hot tubs.
The aim of this signage is simple: to help protect water quality, reduce unnecessary call-outs, and ensure every guest enjoys a safe and relaxing experience.
Why We’re Introducing This
So far this year, our hot tub team has been called out several times to properties where the water had become cloudy. In each case, the issue was not mechanical — it was due to guests not following the hot tub rules outlined in the disclaimer.
Common causes of cloudy water include:
-
Guests not showering before use
-
Alcohol consumption whilst using the tub
-
Extended usage times
-
Excessive numbers using the tub
-
Lack of supervision of children
When these guidelines aren’t followed, it can quickly affect water balance and clarity, leading to avoidable maintenance visits and potential guest disruption.
What the New Signage Includes
The new signage will be placed near each hot tub as a friendly but clear reminder of the rules. It covers:
-
Child supervision
-
Showering before use
-
No glass near the tub
-
Time limits (15–20 minutes recommended)
-
Staying hydrated
-
No alcohol use
-
No diving or jumping
-
Replacing the cover after use
Importantly, the signage also includes the direct WhatsApp/contact number for our housekeeping team, making it easier for guests to report any issues promptly.

Protecting Your Investment
Hot tubs are one of the biggest booking drivers across our portfolio. Maintaining excellent water quality and presentation is essential not only for guest experience but also for protecting the longevity of the equipment.
These reminders are designed to:
-
Reduce unnecessary call-outs
-
Minimise water quality issues
-
Protect your asset
-
Support smoother guest stays
We believe this small addition will make a meaningful difference across the season.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
Thank you for your continued support.
