Since taking on the management of our cleaning services, the team has elevated our presentation to new heights. We are incredibly proud to see our guest reviews consistently hitting the 4-5 star range. More importantly, we have effectively eliminated cleanliness as a point of contention in guest feedback. This is a direct reflection of the dedication, rigor, and professional pride that Lucy and her team bring to every single changeover.

Why This Change is Necessary

As many of you know, the past two years have presented significant challenges in the broader economy. We have seen sustained increases in fuel and energy costs—essential components for the logistics of mobilising our cleaning teams to the properties. Furthermore, the commercial laundrette services, which are vital to our operation, have increased their prices five times within this year alone.

Up until this point, our housekeeping team has been absorbing these rising costs to protect our owners from price volatility. They have been incredibly resilient, operating on the legacy price structure that was established back in the days of Shireen and co. It is a testament to their commitment that they have continued to deliver this superior level of service without any price adjustment for the past two years.

However, with the cumulative effect of these rising operational costs and the ongoing broader rate of inflation, we have reached a point where the cleaning team can no longer shoulder this burden alone. To ensure that we do not compromise on the quality of service, the level of detail, or the reliability that your guests have come to expect, a modest adjustment to our housekeeping fees is necessary.

Understanding the Adjustment

We want to be clear that this decision was not made lightly. We have worked hard to keep this increase minimal—in many cases, it remains well below the general rate of inflation that has impacted other sectors. To put this into perspective, for a 1-bed lodge, the change represents an increase of approximately 2%, and for a 2-bed property, the move is an increase of just 1.73%. These figures are significantly lower than many other industry price adjustments we have seen, reflecting our desire to share the burden fairly.
