End of Year Tax Returns | Your Monthly Statements & Online Access

At Reliance Retreats / Devon Holidays, we aim to ensure transparency and ease when it comes to your financial records.

Each time a payment is issued, you will receive a monthly statement detailing your bookings and income. These statements are designed to give you a clear, ongoing record throughout the year, helping you stay organised without needing to wait until year-end.

In addition, all owners have access to our online owners portal, where you can:

  • View historical statements

  • Run reports for specific date ranges

  • Access future booking information

This self-service functionality is intended to give you full control over your reporting whenever you need it.

We’re pleased to say that we haven’t had any reports of issues accessing the portal. However, if you do experience any difficulty logging in or retrieving your reports, please don’t hesitate to contact Amy, who will be happy to assist.

End of Financial Year Reports

For most owners, the combination of monthly statements and portal access provides everything needed for your accountant.

However, if you would prefer Reliance Retreats / Devon Holidays to produce a dedicated end-of-year report on your behalf, we are happy to do so. Please note that this is considered an additional service, as it involves extra time and manual processing beyond the standard managed service offering.

The cost for this service is £120.

Why This Is an Additional Cost?

As highlighted in previous blogs, the 20% commission per booking covers a comprehensive management service, including:

  • Guest booking management

  • Supplier coordination

  • Housekeeping organisation

  • Ensuring certifications remain up to date

  • Ongoing communication with owners and the resort

We always aim to go above and beyond for our owners, and it is in our nature to help and assist wherever we can. However, it’s important to be transparent that it is not financially sustainable for us to continually operate outside the agreed scope of service. Doing so places additional pressure on our team, often requiring staff to spend extended time on individual properties, which in some cases can mean those properties are no longer viable for us to manage.

To maintain a high standard of service for all owners and guests—while keeping our management fee at 20%—we must ensure that additional services are fairly charged.

Other Additional Services

Alongside end-of-year reporting, the following are also considered some of our extra services and are not included within the standard management offering:

  • Project management of renovation or upgrade works

  • Assistance with resort-related queries or disputes

  • Creating owner guest bookings

  • Managing or assisting with owner-arranged guest stays, either with standard arrival details or during their stay

  • Dealing with owners’ insurance companies, including providing reports and assisting with ongoing negotiations

These services require additional time, administration, and coordination from our team and are therefore charged accordingly.
