We’re delighted to share some exciting news — Devon Holidays has been named Best Family-Run Holiday Lodge Company 2026 – Devon at the prestigious UK Enterprise Awards.

Organised annually by SME News, the awards recognise outstanding businesses across the UK, celebrating those who demonstrate excellence, innovation, and dedication to their customers. Following a rigorous, merit-led evaluation process, we’re incredibly proud to be recognised among the very best.

An official announcement will be made this July on the SME News website, reaching an audience of millions — but for us, this moment is about much more than recognition. It’s about the people behind Devon Holidays.


Built on Family Values

Devon Holidays was originally founded by Jason Treeby, inspired by a simple vision: to create a holiday experience rooted in care, quality, and genuine hospitality.

From the beginning, this wasn’t just about accommodation — it was about building something personal.

That ethos still defines us today.

At the heart of the business is a close-knit team based in Chudleigh, where family and long-standing relationships shape everything we do:

  • Amy, our Customer Relationship Manager, is central to ensuring every guest feels looked after from booking to departure
  • She works closely with her father, Mark, our dedicated Maintenance Manager, who ensures every lodge is kept to the highest standard
  • Our housekeeping and hot tub operations are led by partners Lucy and Tom, bringing consistency, care, and attention to detail
  • And adding to the family feel, our Housekeeping Manager is also Amy’s best friend — a relationship built on trust and shared standards

This isn’t just a team — it’s a family.
