On June 17th, 2024, Leigh (full name Langelihle) joined our team, replacing Amanda as Operations Associate. Leigh holds a BA in Public Management and Governance with a focus on Human Resource Management and brings four years of experience working at an IT Service Desk in South Africa. Her background and skills made her an ideal fit for the role. The flexible work hours and remote work options we offer perfectly suited Leigh, as she and her family relocated to the UK, where her 6-year-old daughter is starting infant school.
Before starting with us, Leigh visited Finlake to experience the site as a guest and meet with the Finlake management and support teams. She also had the opportunity to meet a few of the owners who were on site at the time.
Hi, I’m Leigh Hadebe, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself to you! I grew up in South Africa and recently moved to the UK in May 2024 with my 4-year-old daughter, Sisipho, to join my husband. Joining Devon Holidays as an Operations Associate is an exciting new chapter for me, especially since this is my first experience in the hospitality industry. I’m starting to see many similarities between this role and my previous one as a Service Desk Agent in South Africa. Being the first point of contact and exploring different areas to ensure the company runs smoothly are skills I’m eager to bring to this new position. Visiting Finlake Resort and meeting some of you has been fantastic, and I’m excited to learn and see even more. As an Operations Associate, my role is to be your go-to person, looking after our guests, your properties, and you. I can’t wait to connect with each of you, whether in person or virtually.
